Here you can find villa Shanti
Shanti is close to Lovina area and just a 10/15 minute’s drive. You need a car or scooter to come there, however Shanti offers a jeep service for short trips and for longer trips you can easily call in a taxi. Both are reasonable priced.
The villa is situated in a tranquil and rural area and is surrounded by rice fields and vineyards with a lot of privacy.
The villa is built with an Indonesia rice barn in mind, however very stylish and modern. The owners paid a lot of attention by developing this beautiful villa. Modern, with a very good taste for even the smallest details and a good feeling for symmetry.
The house is very luxurious appointed. Very tasteful. The kitchen is very well equipped and can easily compete with the most modern European kitchens. A very big swimming pool with beautiful terraces and trees to prevent from the sun if you wish. The big living on the first floor is fantastic to spend a pleasant evening and from this floor you are able to have a 360o view. In short: we very much enjoyed this villa, beautiful and well kept up.
We have to be careful not to over exaggerate, but the staff of the villa is of very great importance to the most wonderful vacation you can experience. What a great professionals with a lot of attention, friendliness and the ability to make guests feel at home. Without doubt the staff is very top. This applies for the two gardeners, the security and the driver, but especially the two golden girls of Shanti Ita and Ketoet. We wish that we could take them back home. What a wonderful art of Indonesian cooking. We stayed for three weeks and every day was a very pleasant experience, as well for breakfast, lunch and dinner. And the perceptible pleasure they have in making the quests feeling treated like king or queen. This staff is the most important asset of villa Shanti.
We did not regret our stay for a one single minute and hope to be back in near future.
From the first e-mail of the owners till the final transfer to airport everything was so precisely and nicely arranged so we felt only warm welcome having very pleasant experience in every way.
The place in reality turned out even better then we could expect relaying on photos from site.
Exclusively located on the beach it has outstanding and amazing different views in all directions, which are specifically for this villa only.
Wisely designed garden with luxuriant plants has a base focus on the grand path which with lotus ponds captures your sight and then leads you to the sea at the end. It’s also very impressive in back direction. Unfortunately, this extremely lovely feature of this place can’t be express by photo anyhow, it needs to be here to see.
Though, it was our fifth time in Bali, finally we’ve found the place where we’d felt the best of Bali could give you.
The greatest thank the creators/owners who have made such perfect place.
It’s a real celebration and delight:
for eyes ’cause everything is full of beauty,
for mind ’cause everything is full of peace,
for soul ’cause everything is full of harmony,
for body ’cause everything is full of comfort.
It was a real pleasure to be there, we were enjoying every moment of the stay.
Special thanks to the staff. All of the team were very friendly and welcome and doing their job very well. Yet Ketut has a great talent, (besides the others) of culinary which open the new levels of Indonesian cuisine for us.
Having an experience in renting villas in Europe and staying through over the world in splendid resorts as Four Seasons, W, Banyan Tree for this time we really found the best luxurious relax place in Bali with nothing to compare.
On frise l excellence…
The Villa Shanti at Dencarik near Lovina is the best place we have stayed in five trips to Bali. The villa and grounds are beautiful and were spacious enough so that the five of us who were staying could each find solitude if we wanted it in a variety of shady and relaxing places. The villa is set back from the sea and secure from the few passing hawkers and the outlook in every direction is superb. We did day trips to Menjangam Island, and to the Bali Tower at the Menjangam resort,as well as to Lovina and up to the Damai Villas for dinner. While all those places were lovely it was always good to get back to the peace and serenity of the Villa Shanti. Kertut, Ayu, Nyomang and the rest of the staff were faultless in their care. The food was delicious. Lying in the massage hut listening to the sound of the sea while we had a massage from Made and her colleague left us completely blissed out on a daily basis – each and every one of us floated back along the path to the villa with goofy looks on our faces. We enjoyed it all and look forward to returning one day. One word of warning – don’t step on the black tiles with wet feet! Most of the tiles around the pool are white but there are a few black ones and they are very slippery when wet so please take care.
We (family of 6) recently stayed in Villa Shanti (august 2013) and had a wonderful time. Everything was perfect and is carved into our memories forever. We stayed for 2 weeks and enjoyed every day. We had some great experiences like trekking with Putu, snorkeling the small island, visiting monkey forest, volcano’s, Lovina, Sererit, … but most of all, relaxing at the pool enjoying family life in the nicely cleaned garden and villa as well as tasting the delicious food prepared by the staff. We arrived very late … and found a delicious meal prepared for us in the fridge … whaaw, after a 16 hour flight trip from Belgium followed by a ‘quick’ drive over the snake roads it made us smile and feel happy. We can only say, this was paradise for us and we would definitely recommend it to all people that are looking for a relaxing stay.
We were delighted with our 2 week stay at Villa Shanti. Its a spectacular house set in a delightful garden, more a park actually. The staff are hardworking, efficient and delightful. Food and pool were fantastic. The owners in Holland were most helpful too and arranged efficient transfers for all of us for the 3 hour journey from the airport. The local staff were also most helpful in booking excursions. Recommended for a family group. There are unfenced stairs which might worry those with toddlers.
Arriving in the early evening after our drive from Sanur, we arrived in Paradise! All 6 villa staff were there to greet us, with frangipani garlands. The setting is glorious, as the villa itself is set a little way back from the beach, so is surrounded by padi fields. It is unique among the villas on this stretch of beach, and is very special and secluded. The gardens are literally bursting with verdant plants and flowers – the lily ponds leading down the path to the beach are gorgeous. The photos on the website, although stunning, don’t do the villa justice. The villa itself is beautifully designed, unusual in its style (with the lovely thatched roof and open plan living area upstairs to provide beautiful vistas), is spacious, modernly furnished, and very well maintained. The staff are wonderful – I know all reviews say that about Balinese staff at most villas, but here it was true (and we stayed at another where this wasn’t the case!). House “manager”, Ketut was a delight as was her assistant, Ita. Ketut’s cooking was outstanding; so much so that we didn’t eat out once in our 5 nights/6days there. Ketut asked us what we liked, we told her, and she bought the ingredients, cooked and served them to us each evening, and charged us just what she’d spent (something she recorded in meticulous detail in her notebook for us). She coped perfectly with the nut allergy of one of our party. Of particular note is the 18 metre long “lap” style swimming pool directly in front of the villa, which allows “proper” exercise swimming (one of our party did 120 lengths one day!). All in all Villa Shanti and the food we were served were incredibly good value, the more so by comparison with other places we stayed in Bali. Put simply, we can’t recommend the villa highly enough – it’s a delight and staying here was the highlight of our 12 night holiday. Ps. Ketut organised dolphin watching for us with Made, and our party (ranging in age from 18 to 57) thought this was “brilliant”.
We recently stayed at Villa Shant in Lovina Beach for 6 nights as part of our honeymoon. From the beggining of our correspondence the owner of the Villa was incredibly helpful and made me feel completely at ease. We are from the us and had never been to Bali, From transportation to activities to amazing food, the owners and villa staff were absolutely wonderful. We were treated so amazingly. The food the head of household prepared was out of this world, every single meal she made was delicious. The house is in immaculate condition, there is a ton of space, it’s an awesome open design, and was absolutely clean. The surrounding land area was so tranquil. The beds are all extremely comfortable. The outdoor pool was huge and beautiful. The beach area was quiet and relaxing. We did a day trekking trip that the staff set up for is, it was the most rewarding experience we had in our entire 3 week stay. I travel frequently for work (more than 100 nights a year on average). I stay in high end establishments around the world and I have never been more impressed or happier with vacation spot. I would 100% go back to Bali and stay here!
I stayed in Shanti for 10 days. When I came I was really pleased with the nice house, view, garden etc. When my friend showed me my bedroom I had tears in my eyes. The view was magnificent: vine tendrils and rice fields all over. I really enjoyed the swimming pool: you can sit nicely next to it but it is alsp possible tot sit in the water of the pool. Luckely the pool was big enough to swim some lanes. The little house near the beach we used to give en receive balinese massage. It was a remarklable time I had at Shanti: relaxing en enjoying the villa, the garden, the swimmingpool and the sunset!
I have come to visit for only one weekend and it was a wonderful experience. The house & garden is designed very tastefully with a mix of contemporary and balinese elements, one always feels very integrated with the surrounding & nature.
